According to an article in today's Detroit Free Press, children prefer the taste of carrots that have been wrapped in McDonald's wrapping to the taste of carrots without wrapping.

This reinforces the idea that our minds influence how we perceive the world. It would be an interesting piece of research for high-school students to build on.
